My Sigma brushes and where to buy them

Sigma is an American brand of brushes. It produces brushes of the highest quality and with medium-high cost. According to my knowledge Sigma brushes are not easily found in Italy. Some Italian or European web sites  sell them, but at much higher costs than their original price.

One of the first things when you approach makeup is to get brushes and to learn how to use them.

I have always applied a bit of makeup, since adolescence, light makeup, with few stuff available and without any knowledge on the topic. My passion about makeup began when I started to find videos on youtube about this topic and... as I imagine happened to many of you... a new world opened up for me! I found that I could get a lot more from my makeup, with a little of knowledge and some more tools.When I realized that brushes could help a lot more than hands, or those awful sponges that we find in most of the eye shadows, I started using the ones I had at home. I had got small poor quality brushes received as a gift with some makeup. Even with those brushes I saw that things had started to improve, I could get decent shades and makeup gave me a lot more satisfaction. I generally try to save and to find the best value for money. My first purchase of brushes has therefore required a long study of videos and reviews on youtube and blogs. My choice in the end went on the Zoeva Very Croc Set, bought from the site http://www.zoeva-shop.de (33 € + 7.5 € for shipping), I added the pen brush cod. 230 (3.8 euro), because I thought it might be useful to me and it was missing from the set. It is a very complete set and, in my experience so far (I've used it for more than a year and a half), of excellent quality.

Il Very Croc set e il pennello 230 di Zoeva

Una delle prime cose fondamentali quando ci si avvicina al makeup è procurarsi ed imparare ad usare i pennelli.

Io mi sono sempre truccata un po', sin dall'adolescenza, in modo leggero, con pochi trucchi a disposizione e senza nessuna conoscenza in materia. Mi sono appassionata al makeup quando ho cominciato a trovare video su questo argomento su youtube e... come immagino sia successo a tante... mi si è aperto un mondo! Ho scoperto che potevo ottenere molto di più dal mio makeup, con un po' di conoscenze e qualche strumento in più.

Quando ho capito che i pennelli potevano aiutarmi molto di più delle mani, o di quelle orrende spugnette che troviamo nella maggior parte degli ombretti, ho cominciato ad usare quelli che avevo a casa. Avevo infatti dei piccoli pennelli di scarsa qualità ricevuti in regalo insieme ad alcuni trucchi.

Già con quei pennelli poco funzionali ho visto che le cose hanno cominciato a migliorare, potevo ottenere sfumature decenti e il trucco mi dava molta più soddisfazione.

In genere faccio acquisti molto oculati, cerco di risparmiare e di trovare il miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il mio primo acquisto di pennelli ha quindi richiesto un lungo studio di video su youtube e di recensioni sui blog.

La mia scelta alla fine è andata sul Very Croc Set di Zoeva, acquistato dal sito http://www.zoeva-shop.de (33 euro + 7.5 euro per la spedizione), ho aggiunto il pennello a penna cod. 230 (3.8 euro), perché pensavo potesse essermi utile e dal set mancava questa tipologia.

Si tratta di un set molto completo e, per la mia esperienza finora (lo uso da più di un anno e mezzo), di ottima qualità.
